Connected Collection was born as a celebration of global connections between people, cultures, and communities from all over the world. The main goal was to create a series of wallpapers that weren’t just visually appealing, but also functional, bold, and above all, fun. In a world where wallpapers are often seen as simple decorative elements, the idea was to create something different—something that reflects the DNA of Nothing and seamlessly integrates with its characteristic UI.

More than just images, the collection is about experimenting, pushing the boundaries of what we can do with current tools, and exploring new creative possibilities. The use of artificial intelligence in part of the creative process wasn’t just a technological choice, but also a way to reflect the curious, pioneering spirit of the Nothing community—always exploring new trends and looking toward the future.

The creation of the collection was an enriching and fun co-creation journey. After developing an initial version of on my own, I had the chance to work closely with the Nothing team, collaborating with Mladen M Hoyss, the Software Creative Director, and Ken Giang, Software Designer. This collaboration allowed us to refine the collection and shape it more organically, in line with Nothing’s global vision.

The co-creation process was inspiring, not only because of the quality of the work but also due to the energy and creativity we shared as a team. It was a truly fun experience, with constant interaction and idea exchange that helped bring the collection to life in a more dynamic, vibrant way—full of personality and with greater variety in styles. The collaboration allowed us to craft a proposal that not only reflects my vision but also captures the essence of the Nothing community: curious, bold, and always in a constant state of exploration
